AII-MN Anime Club Website
My first project with Wordpress, I took a current theme (Beach by Gibbo) and altered it through different images and CSS. I also worked with a few plugins like Stout Google Calendar and Mingle Forums. In the end, I feel more comfortable working with Wordpress and the Anime club now has an awesome website.

Barista Training
Passionate about coffee and in need of a project for E-Learning, I helped with the concept, wireframes and AS3 coding while my partner Rachel Silberman worked on graphics, website and testing. The entire module is built with the graphics within Flash, but nothing on the stage. All actions were called through a DocClass file.

Mt. Diamond Ski & Snowboard Resort
Originally my first website created in a WYSIWYG editor in a Web Design class back at Western. I decided to scrap the design and start anew with a new color scheme, a new grid structure and additional images. The textual content remains the same.

Twilight Movie Countdown Timer
One of my classes called for a Flash-based timer for one of our projects. My idea was to base it around something that could actually be used in marketing. My concept was a countdown timer to the release of the current Twilight movie, Eclipse. However, as it is well past the release date, I updated the project with information on the first part of Breaking Dawn.

about
My journey into the world of the web began when I wrote my first line of code in high school. Before I found a school that offered a web design degree, I found the podcast Boagworld, which stresses semantic code and accessibility. Since then, I have been interested in clean, semantic code that is accessible and available to everyone. Furthermore, every year I get increasingly excited about the state of the web and new technologies and am interested in the variety of options for dealing with situations that may arise.
